First-time cover crop grant program

To promote adoption of conservation practices, Peninsula Pride Farms (PPF) is offering cost-share funds to farmers who plant cover crops in the fall of 2020. The program will provide $30/acre (maximum 40 acres) for non-members or members that have not participated in the PPF cost-share program (up to 10 farmers will receive funds). You do not have to be a PPF member to apply.

To receive funds, you will be required to:

  • Complete page 1 of the application and return to PPF by September 15, 2020
  • Plant cover crops in the fall of 2020  
  • Complete page 2 of the application and return it to PPF by December 1, 2020
  • Attend the PPF annual meeting (held in February 2021)

All individual farm data is confidential. Complete the form below and return by Nov. 1 to enroll.
